C is for...

Committing..... To getting back on track! In an effort to do that (yes I realize I probably said in an earlier post that I was getting back on track!) I believe I will join the Holiday Bootie Buster ChallengeI must however still go to check out what is required of me. But since I can ill afford to wait until it starts I do believe I will get started now. In fact we started last night with another one of Josh's garage boot-camps. This time the youngest son was out there getting his butt kicked too.

Colorful!..... What a beautiful weekend we had! The weather was just about perfect. Sunday I spent as much time outside as possible. Starting with a hike in the morning with my Josh and his girlfriend.

We were hiking up near Red Rocks. The views were awesome.
After hiking I quickly headed out for a bike ride, perfect!

Cute!...... This is Josh's girlfriends dog Skittles...isn't this about the cutest thing you have ever seen!

She went hiking with us.

Cancun....I'm planning a trip to Mexico! I'm hoping to take the boys sometime before Josh leaves for the Marines in June. We are thinking Cancun but may change to Cozumel. Two years ago we went to Puerto Vallarta and all are looking forward to going again. Anyone have any hotel suggestions? Looking at all inclusive and keeping it inexpensive.

Chiro.... I finally made it!!! My hips have been giving me a problem for a while...in fact that's what she said as she looked at me disapprovingly. :) I was giving her a hard time about causing me so much pain all the time.....I guess if I went more often it would not be near as painful or take as much adjusting. I also learned something new too today. One of the chiropractors works with many of the sports team in town and other athletes. Today I learned that they also have a guy who who does massage and acupuncture. They are awesome and I would totally recommend them to anyone in the area.

Candy Corn...I haven't had any yet this year...kind of goes against the getting back on track, but I looooovvvve it and must have some!

Oh my, that is the cutest dog ever! Don't tell Tals I said that!) Glad you got out to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend--cause as I type, I'm pretty sure that's changing :)

Skittles IS a cute pup! Puerto Vallarta is a whole lot of fun, and Jenn and I went there for our honeymoon. Cancun or Cozumel should be a blast either way. Those pics of your hike near red rocks were awesome!

So glad you got out and enjoyed the nice weather before this snow hit. Blah! I also signed up for HBBC to help me stay on track. I am not a fan of candy corn but fun size candy bars? Yes, they are my downfall. I would never eat a whole snickers, but I seem to have no problem eating 10 fun sized snickers through out the day. Ugh!

Definitely have to take advantage of nice fall days, we all know they won't last long!
Such a cute face on that dog!

The weekend was gorgeous! I wish it could stay like that all year round. I don't like the snow we got today!

I am a fan of Cabo San Lucas. That is where we go every year.

For the love of god I saw the dog pic and I can't read anymore. I swear I'll read the rest just as soon as I can stop smooshing over that puppy. You don't lie.

That dog is just too much cuteness!! I have to show my kids this picture! They'll love it.

HBBC is really easy. For proof of workouts, I enter them all into Daily mile, but then I just keep a little cheat sheet at my desk that tells me how many points I get for each activity and then I just do tally marks throughout the week and at the end of the week I know what my total points are to enter into the spreadsheet.

I have my chiro and massage therapist on speed dial!

I love the photos of red rocks; gorgeous colors, my pics never turn out that well. I love hiking out there, especially in the fall with all of the colors. Although, I bet it's beautiful today covered in the fresh snow we are getting! Yes, I am probably the only person who is totally enjoying this snow. :)

I'm thinking you may not think it's toooooo colorful right now - unless you like the color WHITE!!! Which I don't! Don't listen to Tara, I promise you when we are swimming laps together in February, she will be bitching about the snow (she hates how cold the pool water is - hahah).

I've only been to Cabo and Cancun and I can't get over how gorgeous the turquoise water is in Cancun and the white sand beaches. Cabo just doesn't have that so stick to the East side of Mexico on the Gulf. We stayed at a Marriott but it wasn't inclusive ... but it had an amazing buffet :). We used Marriott points, I can't imagine how pricey it'd be without them. Nice thing is, you don't need to rent a car :).

Doing the Bootie challenge, too...so glad to hear it include candy corn!! :)
