I'm a former couch potato extraordinaire. I started waking for exercise some where around the age of 38 and from there decided to run. Prior to that the only real exercise I had done would be Jazzercise in the 80's. Using the Couch to 5k plan I slowly started to run and I decided that on my 43rd birthday which happened to be Thanksgiving Day 2007, I was going to do my first race. Unfortunately I had an injury and ended up doing more walking then running but I completed my first race non the less. And then in 2008 I ended up doing a sprint tri. Fell in love with it. And the rest as they say is history. :) Ok maybe not history but it is all documented here in my blog!
