1. Thanks for all the encouragement and the ideas on how to beat PRD. I’m still thinking about my options and trying to figure out what I want to do. I think in the end there is a good chance I will train for a November ½ marathon, also possibly one more tri. It's comforting to know that so many you have experienced the same thing.
2. The Lazy Song...

Not sad...not whiny...just in need of a goal. Do you have a specific 1/2 and tri in mind?
Hey...I am on the showering every other day thingie in my summer laziness - kinda gross, eh?
I was thrilled to get your email about the half in Loveland, perfect plan. Maybe I'll do it...will you wait for me at the end? My crazy client told me today she might do another tri in Sept ...so there is obviously one around (I have no idea where but will find out, you'd enjoy meeting her). I know this is tough but it will pass. Enjoy the few extra breaths you are getting right now....training starts soon and no time to breathe then!! :)
You are feeling the post race blues. They will dissipate soon. Come do harvest moon on Sept 11!
HA! You're on my single track to no where fast. What are we to do with ourselves??!!
I agree with Christi, since she is aquabiking, we have a rivarly now, I cant make the race, so I need you to race for me, beat her, and mail me the finsher medal, sounds like a good idea to me!!!
You deserve to take a few weeks off! I totally identify with how you are feeling. I felt a little depressed after my first half-marathon, it didn't go how I wanted and I didn't know where to go from there. So you are not alone!
If you are looking for an out of state race there are some good ones in Oregon! Just sayin ;)
Absolutely nothing wrong with all those "zeros".....take the time to rest.
Take the time to maybe pick up a new hobby.....like kettlebells!! LOL
