Thursday Three- Things I know

1. First tri of the year this weekend. Evergreen....you know the one...I talked about it in my last post the one with the cold water, hills and stairs. I'm excited yet nervous. I know it will be challenging and I know I will be slow, I know there is every chance that I will be one of the last finishers, but I also know that I will finish.

2. First letter from my son Josh in boot camp..... "Food is good, sleep is minimal, exercise is abundant" I know this is tougher on him then it is on me. :) I also know that during above tri I will be thinking of him and giving it everything I've got.

3. I know you will enjoy this.

Good luck to everyone who is racing this weekend!

First off, it seems that every event you do is EXTRA hard! Whether it is cold and windy or extremely hot or super hilly, those are always in your events. Good luck this weekend!

Secondly, that was a short letter from your son! :)

Thirdly, loved the tri song.

I have seen that video before. Thing is, I typically refuse to start before 6 unless race day

You're going to have a fantastic race; I can't wait and I'm going to be cheering loud here from my nice comfy bed :) so listen hard for me.

So happy that you heard from you son, I bet you ripped open that letter in a nanosecond :). You raised a great kiddo!

I'm not going to listen to that song because I don't want to get sucked into the triathlon vortex. Oh wait....

Oh, I'm so glad there will be a Julie Tri Report soon! Good luck, woman! I'll be camping with my kids (a marathon and an all-nighter all rolled into one) but will think of you.

Good luck this weekend! Can't wait to read all about it!
Great that you've heard from your son, I would be going nuts if my son was away.....it breaks my heart when you talk about him being gone, you're strong to be handling it! I am very happy to know that another fine young man is protecting my freedom-so for that, I thank him and you!
Great video-made me want to do one, so I did! My famous "homemade" kind!
