Three Thing Thursday...Celebrations

1. Mom and Dad are home! Yea!!!!!! After just shy of 10 weeks in the hospital,  I picked them up at the airport yesterday. It is oh so good to see them back in Denver. While mom will still have some work to do on getting back to full strength she can now do it from her own home.

2. This guy turned 18 yesterday. Wow unbelievable how fast the time goes.

 Prom this past weekend

3. Not quite as important...I got new shoes! I went with the men's to see if the wider width would be better. So far I think I like them, but I've only got a few miles on them.

That's terrific news that your parents are home! Yay!!! You've got a good-lookin' boy. 18? Doesn't time fly? Nice shoes! I hope they are perfect for your feet. Hopefully the mens are wider and fit better for ya.

I am so happy that your mom got healthy enough to return home! FINALLY!!! YAY for her. I know your dad has got to be much happier at home now, too!

Your son looks a lot like his momma, how handsome is he!!! Love the prom pictures, the light blue color is so pretty on them both!

Let's hope those new shoes bring tons of magical and happy miles!!!!

Prom dresses are much better looking now than they were in the early 90s when I went. It must be so fun to see your kid going to prom. I still have a hard time imagining it.

I'm so happy to hear about your mom being back! She'll probably be more relaxed here and things will progress better for her.

Glad to hear your folks are back home...your Mom has got to be happy to be back home! Being in the hospital for so long is rough-for her and everyone.
Your son is very handsome-I'm not too far behind you, mine turns 17 this year and I'm catching myself looking at his "little kid" pics wondering to myself; where did the time go?
I always buy the men's shoes. They are just more comfortable for my "gunboats" I call feet! I hope they work for you!

Awww, Julie, I am soooo very glad that your mom and dad are home. I know it is probably a HUGE relief to them both.
Sorry, I am so far behind on your posts, I am trying to stay caught up, but I did see your kiddos prom pictures. That's one good looking couple! I am currently in prom hell. Why must girls give such a shit about prom?????
