Working on 2010 Schedule

So I've been giving 2010 some thought and this is what I've come up with so far. One of my goals for the year was to try and do some kind of "race" every month. I've still got some blanks and I'm sure there will be some changes but this is what I've come up with so far.

February
Super Bowl or Valentines Day 5k

March

April

May

June

Greely Tri
July

7-18 SheRox Sprint
August
8-1 Tri for the Cure
Rattlesnake Olympic

September
Crescent Moon Sprint Tri

October
Denver 1/2 Marathon

December

Really need to figure out how I'm going to get some swimming in. I've not been in the pool in...well I don't know how long, but it's been a long time. Thinking after the New Year I may join a swim class or something. That might getting out there anyway.

Feeling pretty good about my weight, seemed to make it though the b-day lunches/dinners and Thanksgiving, the scale went up briefly and then down an extra pound...now if I can just keep this up through the rest of the holidays.

My plan lately has been to eat what I love but eat healthy. Have I mentioned how much I just love oatmeal....I've been having it pretty much every day for a while now. Different "mix ins" and oh my is it so good....this mornings was one of the best.....a little bit of dried pineapple, some coconut , banana, vanilla yogurt...Oh I'm starting to drool just thinking about it! And for dinner I had some fantastic tostadas, nothing special but they tasted so good with some fresh salsa. Can you say food addiction?

I see so many cool things being put up every day for next year, it makes me kind of sad to not be signing up for them. But priorities are just that. Besides, the following year will be good. Heck, any year being the shape I'm in now is a good year!
Looks like a nice schedule for you so far!

Julie--it's so nice to have another Coloradan to chat with! I see we are doing some of the same races. For March, you might want to consider the Runnin' of the Greens 7k (~4.5 miles).

Have you done Rattlesnake before? I love that race, and I'm thinking about doing the sprint this year.
