Foodie Friday!

I enjoyed reading about some of the things you guys ate last week! I can’t wait to try a couple of them too. Including the blue cheese stuffed olives, and that Tokyo Joe sauce...I’ve never seen either but will be on the lookout!

The best food I ate this week would be the homemade Chipotle we had last Sunday. It was fantastic! We do this pretty often around our house and it is always enjoyed. Not quite as good as the real stuff but darn close. I love my rice maker and it is so easy to make the lime cilantro rice with it. I sauté a bunch of veggies including zucchini, yellow squash, onions, mushrooms and peppers. A marinated London broil grilled on the Foreman, some guacamole, some pinto beans and a ton of chipotle Tabasco. (Do you like the chipotle Tabasco? . I love it on certain things especially this.) All of this eaten in a bowl or plate sans tortilla Oh wow....I’m getting hungry just thinking about it...wish there were still some leftovers hanging around, but they don’t last long with two teenage boys.

Your turn! What did you eat this week that you just can’t get enough of?

I think I need a rice maker! That sounds delicious ;) My gym is (unfortunately) right door to Chipotle and it has definitely become an after-workout problem. Maybe if I owned a rice maker, I could curb said problem!

Looks awesome! Hopefully your portions were like 1/10th the size of Chipotle - they are HUGE!!!

Unfortunately, the mini snickers bar are what I couldn't get enough of us yesterday! But...today's a new day!

Mmmm...Chipotle...homemade or whatever, I'll take it.

I'm in love with turkey chili (even though I made it myself--that's usually the kiss of death). Lots of veggies, tastes like the real thing....If you're interested, I'll send the recipe.

I had tuna casserole with salad and on the salad I had Brianna's Poppyseed dressing and the flavors together were wonderful, so when I had my casserole again later in the day, I bypassed the lettuce completely and just put the dressing on top of the tuna and noodles. It might sound disgusting, but it was really yummy!
