Long run by the numbers...

1 Cliff Shot Turbo Double Expresso ...my new favorite...oh my this sucker is good...really good...
2 bottles of water from my fuel belt drank(drunk? drinked?)
3 Cliff Shot blocks...love these too.
4 Pieces of pizza I ate the night before to work off.
5(9) degrees when I finished. A beautiful day for a run although it was a bit windy with some strong gusts once in a while.
6 More weeks until my 1/2 marathon.
7th mile mostly downhill and where left foot and toes were a little bit angry at me and reminding me that I really do need to get new shoes.
8th mile Feeling really good and thrilled when I looked at my splits to find mile 8 and 9 were my fastest and both just under 12mm
9 Miles done 1:54 minutes 12:42 average pace 597' of climbing according to Beginner Triathlete

Reading your post makes me realize just how far behind I am on my half marathon training. You did 9 miles today, and have 6 weeks to go. I have 9 weeks to go and I'm laying in bed with a bad back with my longest run to date at 4 miles. Yikes!!! Great job on your run today!!

Awesome job with your run! I like how you broke it down by numbers. I am so looking forward to the 60 degree days this week! Woohoo!

Great job on the run! The wind today was horrible! I did a run/walk and at some points I could barely stay on the trail because of the wind. Luckily today it has calmed down and I am thinkin' an outdoor ride is in my future.

I'm ready for new shoes, too! Sometimes I feel like money is just flying out of my purse 24 hours a day.

Great job on your run!
